Continental Divide

Continental Divide:

Today presented a variety of valleys, farmlands, high plateaus, and mountain passes.

Our RV made the climb to Wolf Creek pass at 10,856 feet - the Continental Divide, the boundary between water flow into the Atlantic vs. the Pacific oceans.

Wolf Creek Pass: while stopping to take pictures, we met a man who was hiking the 3,100 Continental Divide trail that ranges from the Mexican to Canadian borders.

The unsettling thing for me were the warnings as we started our descent from that summit to the valley floor in Pagosa Springs - but my driver handled it all with ease!
