More Family; Poodles & Doodles:

What can be a more quintessential Saturday morning activity than watching a little league game?  Most of Carol's family showed up to watch gransons Phinneas and Baelin's "Mets" team claim a victory against the "Reds".


The evening was spent at Vicki (Carol's daughter - mother of the victors) and Joe's house.  A good time was had by all, and the dog cousins got to know eachother better.

  Lincoln Presidential Museum: Today took us into Springfield, Illinois, Abraham Lincoln’s home prior to his presidency, as well as his burial site at Oak Ridge Cemetery.  We toured the Lincoln Museum , adjacent to the Lincoln Presidential Library.  Using dioramas and multi-media displays, the museum impressively provides a journey through President Lincoln's life from his early years through his death.
